Our herbalists are experts at crafting custom herbal formulas, specifically for you. After an in depth intake, we can create a diagnosis, and can create a targeted herbal formula to address your concerns in light of your constitution. We make them in small batches that can be modified as your condition improves. While we are adept at making formulas to address gastrointestinal issues, pain and injury, dermatology issues and more, our specialty is in women’s health (menstrual regulation, pms, fertility, pregnancy and menopause). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This is for new patients who are only interested in herbal medicine. In this 45 min session, we discuss your current conditions, health goals and create a treatment plan for herbal medicine. Just an FYI, herbal therapy is included in the above acupuncture sessions. The cost of herbs is not included in the session cost. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
In this 15 min consultation, we follow your progress along the established treatment plan, and modify your herbal formula as needed to account for where you are today. Herbal Medicine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Herbal formulas are either prepared locally at The Spot Acupuncture and Herbs in North Miami Beach for pick up or drop-shipped directly to your home by Crane Herb Company in Massachusetts. Doses are typically prescribes 5g a dose, twice a day (typically herbs cost about $6 a day). \u00a0Herbs can work fast, so we mix them in small batches so we can tweak the formulas as you progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All herbs high quality granules, sourced from the bioregions where they grow the best. All are full-spectrum extracts, which allow all the active chemical constituents, rather than standardized extracts, which are only interested in the identified active ingredient. They are all authenticated through genetic batch testing and tested for heavy metals and pesticide residues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Herbal refill Rx from another physician<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
If you are an acupuncture physician or a certified East Asian herbalist and would like me to fill a Rx you created for your patient, we are happy to do so. Send me your license\/certificate information and email me at coco@peaceandhealthacupuncture.com with your specifications, patient name and contact information for whoever will pick up and pay for the herbs. Payment must be made in advance before the formula will be filled. Either you or the patient can pick up the herbs up at The Spot Acupuncture and Herbs<\/a> in North Miami Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
